True Catalyst PX Grip Junior Hockey Stick – 50 Flex

New for 2022, True is taking the signature technologies and features from their popular catalyst stick family and putting them into an even lighter build. This ultra-lightweight build improves on those existing technologies, creating True’s lightest mid kick stick to date with The Catalyst PX Junior Hockey Stick.

The Catalyst PX is sticking with the unmistakable honeycomb design introduced last year with their catalyst stick line and adding chrome PX logos throughout the shaft. Along with the iconic look, the Catalyst PX will have a soft gloss grip shaft with a matte blade. The shaft will be a square corner double concave shaft.

Starting with the kickpoint, the True Catalyst PX Hockey Stick has an improved mid-flex. This allows maximum energy loading for effortless power and a stiff taper zone to maximize control.

Despite its impressive lightweight build, True has engineered the Catalyst PX stick to make sure power and precision are never compromised. Featuring PLD technology that optimizes 25 layers of unidirectional carbon fiber, the Catalyst PX is designed with an advanced laminate construction to reduce overall stick weight without impacting durability. With optimized fiber angles, it will help to maintain stiffness, weight, and durability over time. This entire package results in a stick that is a very lightweight 295 grams.

The Catalyst PX is utilizing True’s new TRT technology in the blade. The Tri Rib Tech structure features strategic rib placements throughout the blade designed to match puck impact points, providing a more stable structure on impact, leading to more accurate and powerful shots. The Catalyst PX is looking to give players unparalleled accuracy and control.

Along with the TRT tech, True is also using their new Resflo technology. Focused resin flow technology minimizes voids resulting in a much stronger and consistent laminate.

When compared to the Catalyst 9X, the PX will feature higher grade materials throughout the shaft and blade, as well as a 25g weight reduction.
